The monthly newsletter (optional) plus cookies and Meta Pixel measurement — based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time: by clicking “Unsubscribe”, changing your choice in the cookie banner (or clearing your browser data), or by writing to servicedesk@lieto.app.
Basic analytics, security, and abuse prevention — the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Waitlist and newsletter data: until the product launches plus 30 days, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Contact-form messages: up to 12 months after we reply.
After these periods the data is permanently deleted.
Brevo (email delivery and the subscriber list, servers in the EU).
Supabase (the database, hosted in the EU — Frankfurt region; it stores signups, the referral programme, and contact-form messages).
Vercel (hosting, the edge network, and cookieless analytics).
Meta Platforms (ad measurement via the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, only with your consent).
We never sell your data to third parties.
Your core data (email address, consent record, Supabase database) is stored in the EU. Only the following may go outside the EEA:
Meta Platforms (USA) – Meta Pixel data, only with your consent, under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Vercel edge functions, which may process requests outside the EU under SCCs.
Under GDPR you have the right to: access, rectification, deletion, data portability, restriction of processing, and objection.
To exercise any of these rights, email servicedesk@lieto.app. We will respond within 30 days.
You can lodge a complaint with UODO (Urzad Ochrony Danych Osobowych) in Poland or your local supervisory authority.
We use strictly necessary (functional) cookies to remember your preferences: language, the letter reading mode (Quick/Slow), the section you last visited, which letters you have read, and your choice in the consent banner. These are not used for tracking and need no consent.
Vercel Analytics is cookie-free and collects no personal data.
If you consent via our cookie banner, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure our advertising. It sets cookies and shares limited event data (e.g. that a signup happened) with Meta. You can decline, and no Pixel cookies are set; you can change your choice anytime by clearing your browser data.
We will notify you via email if we make material changes.
Minor updates will be posted on this page with an updated date.
The site and the waitlist are not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child has given us their data, write to servicedesk@lieto.app and we will delete it.
